Located between two Alpine Lakes (Brienzersee and Thunersee), Interlaken is a popular base camp for outdoor sports and travel in the surrounding Bernese Oberland Alps. While Interlaken itself is not that scenic it serves as a good base to discover the neighbouring valleys, mountains and lakes, since it holds all the infrastructure and can be reached quickly from major Swiss cities by train and car.Interlaken is small enough to get around on foot or bike. Taxis are available from either train station and most hotels. With the guest card from your hotel, you can travel around Interlaken for free (it also gives discounts to local tourist attractions).

Day 1: ARRIVE ZURICH – ONTO LUCERNE (50 MINS)
- On arrival in Zurich, you will walk across to the Flugaffen station (located adjacent to the airport) for your train to Lucerne, the epitome of Swiss beauty. On arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 2: LUCERNE
Enjoy a day of sheer excitement and adventure on an excursion to the glacier paradise of Mount Titlis. Board the world’s first revolving gondola ‘Rotair’ and take the opportunity to ride the spectacular ‘Ice Flyer’ chairlift and see the ice grotto in the Titlis Glacier Park. Day 3: LUCERNE – INTERLAKEN (2 HRS)
Today, your train journey takes you into the heart of the Bernese Oberland. On arrival in Interlaken, check in to your hotel. Day 4: INTERLAKEN

Day 5 : INTERLAKEN – MONTREUX (3 HRS)
Today, travel by train to Zweisimmen. Continue on the Golden Pass Panoramic train to Montreux, the most frequented resort on Lake Geneva. Pass by meadows and lakes to the white-topped peaks around Col du Pillon. Ascent by cable-car ride to the top of Glacier 3000 and catch stunning views of the renowned Matterhorn and Jungfrau. Day 7 : MONTREUX – GENEVA (1 HR)
Journey by train to Geneva and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed on a tour visiting the city landmarks such as the Jet d’Eau (the world’s tallest fountain in Europe), Musee Ariana, Palais des Nations (United Nations Building), the beautiful flower clock at Jardin Anglais and other popular sights. Day 8 :GENEVA
The day is free. Discover the city, stroll along the lake shore, through the parks, the Old Town and shopping district. Or you can take the optional Chamonix Mont Blanc tour. Overnight in Geneva. (B)
